AI in Building Design · Decarbonization · Hot Climate Resilience
From Pakistan to Texas — the ASHRAE Pakistan Chapter delegation represented the nation on the global stage at the 2026 ASHRAE Annual Summer Conference in Austin, Texas, held June 27 to July 1. As one of the premier gatherings of the world's HVAC&R professionals, the conference brought together engineers, researchers, manufacturers, and standards experts from across the globe to advance the future of the built environment.
From engaging with newly installed ASHRAE Society leadership to collaborating on AI-driven design, decarbonization strategies, and extreme-heat solutions — our delegation brought back invaluable insights to fuel Pakistan's HVAC&R industry. As the chapter year drew to a close, Austin marked one of its most significant final milestones.
The delegation had the privilege of engaging with Sarah E. Maston, P.E., BCxP, LEED AP — who was installed as the 2026–27 ASHRAE Society President during the very same conference. President Maston's vision and energy made this one of the most memorable ASHRAE gatherings for our chapter.
