The ASHRAE Pakistan Chapter runs through its volunteer committees. Each committee drives a specific area of the chapter's mission — from technical education and member engagement to communications, research, and government relations.

Chapter Technology Transfer Committee

Organizing and delivering technical programs — seminars, Distinguished Lecturer programs, workshops, and training sessions — that advance the professional knowledge of chapter members and the wider HVAC&R community.

Membership
Membership Promotion Committee

Growing and engaging the chapter's membership base — attracting new ASHRAE members, retaining existing ones, and ensuring every member finds value in their ASHRAE Pakistan Chapter involvement.

Student Activities
Student Activities Committee

Supporting ASHRAE student branches across Pakistan, facilitating K-12 outreach programs, organizing student leadership events, and building the bridge between academic engineering and the HVAC&R profession.

Govt. Affairs
Government Affairs Committee

Building relationships with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and policy makers — advocating for building codes, energy standards, and HVAC&R regulations that serve Pakistan's built environment and public safety.

Research
Research Promotion Committee

Supporting and promoting ASHRAE research initiatives within Pakistan — encouraging academic-industry collaboration, research participation, and the application of ASHRAE research to local engineering challenges.

WIA
Women in ASHRAE

Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the HVAC&R profession — supporting, recognizing, and creating pathways for women engineers in ASHRAE Pakistan Chapter and across the industry.

Refrigeration
Refrigeration Committee

Promoting refrigeration technologies, best practices, and safety standards — covering refrigerant transitions, cold chain solutions, industrial refrigeration, and alignment with the Kigali Amendment in Pakistan's context.

Historian
Chapter Historian

Preserving and documenting the history of the ASHRAE Pakistan Chapter — maintaining records of activities, milestones, leadership, and achievements since the chapter's establishment in 2003.
